Circular economy is at the heart of Sedamyl’s production cycle.
We strive to maximise the use of raw materials and enhance the value of the by-products generated during the process. A further step forward is represented by the GREEN FIRE project, in which production residues will be used to generate Renewable Energy to be consumed in our italian plant, combining Circular economy with Decarbonisation.
The by-products resulting from the production of Renewable Energy will be used to produce compost and liquid fertiliser, thus closing the loop by being used for local crop cultivation.

SEDAMYL is investing in Renewable Energy production to reduce fossil fuel consumption. Between 2026 and 2027, biomethane (Green Fire project) and photovoltaic plants will be operational.
